Argomenti del programma: The course will center on the main concepts, models, and theories of international trade. Specific topics in the political economy of trade — potentially including the structure and resilience of global value chains, trade-related regulation, and related current developments — will be explored in more depth as the course is finalized, including through student-led discussion and presentations.

Argomenti del programma: This course aims at developing conceptual and empirical understanding of the interplay between globalization processes and innovation intended as both firm-level and territorial-level process of knowledge creation aimed at generating competitive advantage. Hence, specific emphasis is placed on the increasing importance of firms within regions and in global markets.
