Argomenti del programma: The lectures describe the physicochemical fundamentals of processes for the production of biopharmaceuticals. The focus will be on the manufacturing of these drugs through recombinant technology. In fact, these are typically expressed by cells cultured in suitable bioreactors and subsequently purified through various steps, referred to as capture and polishing, usually based on chromatographic techniques.
