Argomenti del programma: The course reviews the main approaches through which the concept of security has been problematized, (re)defined and studied. It addresses authors and references having contributed to strategic studies and military studies, as well as the so-called “peace and conflict studies”. It also focuses on the theories that have been developed since the 1990s (the so-called “critical schools”), up to the most recent debates.
