Automation And Control Laboratory – Politecnico di Milano

Argomenti del programma: Experiments cover classical control problems for non-linear systems: - Motion control , comprising experiments on stable and unstable systems; - Vibration control , co mprising experiments on different types of lumped and distributed flexibility; - Process control , comprising experiments on level regulation of coupled tanks.

Argomenti del programma: Methodologies for automated system modelling. Schematisation levels: selection criteria on the basis of the system typology, of the operating conditions, of the working frequency range. Simulation environments. 1. Process simulation and control. Design of process control systems alternatively for the level regulation of coupled tanks or for temperature control of an heat-flow system.
