Argomenti del programma: The course aims to introduce students to the knowledge and the critical appraisal of an outline of English literature in the twentieth century, and it will mainly focus on the development of the novel in its evolving forms of intertextuality and metafictionality, as well as on the question of identity, the urban imagination, its dystopic connotations, race, gender and postcolonialism.
