«Gere – Theory of Elastic Stability» è adottato per Buckling Of Aerospace Structures dal prof. Chiara Bisagni (Aeronautical Engineering, Space Engineering – Politecnico di Milano); per Structural Stability And Limit Analysis Of Structures dal prof. Victor Eremeev (Ingegneria Civile – sede di Cagliari – Cagliari).
Come lo indica il docente: S.P. Timoshenko and J.M. Gere, Theory of Elastic Stability, Dover Publications, Anno edizione: 2016 · A-1. S. Timoshenko, J. M. Gere, Theory of Elastic Stability, 2nd Edition, McGraw-Hill, Auckland, 1963
Argomenti del programma: In this course the students are introduced to advanced techniques for the design, analysis and test of aerospace structures considering buckling phenomena. Emphasis is placed on deep understanding of the structural models, their assumptions, ranges of applicability, and their implementation for the design of current and future structural solutions.
