Argomenti del programma: In contemporary advanced economies we live in "welfare states", our lives are significantly shaped by welfare arrangements "from cradle to grave", and a major part of public expenditure is dedicated to social protection programs against main social risks. Also, welfare reforms have been persistently at the center of political competition throughout the 20th century and in the last 25 years as well.
