Argomenti del programma: The course has a twofold nature, theoretical and practical. Theoretical insights will be gained into features of English usage that pertain to the context of international relations. Such concepts will be explored as peace linguistics, strategies of conflict talk, verbal politeness, mitigating devices, and the notion of empathy.
